1999-2005 Portfolio Manager - SOGEPOSTE
From “irrational exuberance” partly due to the internet bubble to convalescence of the occidental economy in an exceptional low yield environment, this period of time has been very rich in experiences of any kind.
At Sogeposte (La Banque Postale A.M. now), the fund manager has many obligations related to its function. Especially, he:
- Takes an active participation to the monthly macro-economic committee,
- Animates weekly committees in its specialty,
- Receives companies' representatives in which we may or we are invested in,
- Receives sell-sides analysts,
- Reports twice a year to the management board of the management of each funds,
- Writes a monthly review per fund related to its management during this period,
- Is involved in marketing and commercials actions...

Management of fixed-income mutual funds and credit investments in money market funds. Responsible for the asset-swap portfolio (€3 billions). Responsible for investments in some corporate sectors.

Other interests
I am practicing many sports and for many years. I find in sports loads of values that are important to me. Being near the nature (scuba-diving, sailing, mountain skiing), looking for excellence : tennis, French championships (swimming, javelin throw, athletics…), to share a passion (I am a scuba-diving instructor) or simply to gather with friends (soccer)…
But I also have more selfish occupations, like reading a piece of history, randomly selected from Merovingians to French Revolution…
I also like taking and editing videos -either to show the underseas or my children when skiing- and I broadcast them through a familial web site I have created and I am maintaining.
